Palatino – Winemakers for passion in Puglia is a winery based into the town of Orta Nova in Puglia, in the land of Daunia. It is a family company that grows its own and native grapes and makes a selected and numbered quantity of bottled wines per year. It is a winery with a long experience in viticulture and winemaking. We make elegant and authentic wines, drafted with ethic, innovation and respectful of the territory.

Palatino – Winemakers for passion in Puglia is the owner of all the grapes used to make its wines and they are planted in Orta Nova. Its objective is to make wines uniquely from its autochthon vines which fully express the flair, the tradition and the wines’ quality of the Daunia land.

The wines are soley made from Nero di Troia and Bombino Bianco, vines are the symbol of the wines in these territories.

The concept of this company comes from is founder, Vito Palatino, and it is born from his passion for the vineyards cultivation and his strong bond with his native land. Always involved in viticulture from his grandfather Vito and his father Michele, he graduated in winemaking and oenology making further experiences inland and abroad, in French and American wineries. In managing his business he makes use of his managerial and oenological experiences and his father Michele‘s long and consolidated experience in viticulture.

into the Italian and European market, making a selection of elegant, made with ethic, innovation and respect of the territory wines and just from autochthone grapes. We wish raise the awareness on the quality and flair of the Nero di Troia and the uniqueness of the Bombino Bianco vines.
